Things I am (re)learning

People learn different lessons at different time in their lives. Sometimes you have to fail at the same thing before you fully understand what you need to learn.

Things I am (re)learning.

1. Don't react to situations with your emotions. How many times have our emotions or feelings make us do or say things we regret. We need to make decisions based on truth and not feelings. I'm learning and will never master this, but being more conscience about this will help.

2. Things will work out for the good. No matter how much we plan our lives, things will change. We have to make the most of the situation with what we have. There is a bible verse that I love Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

3. Stop comparing your circumstances and life with others. I catch myself a lot comparing what I have and what im doing to others. I'm learning that each of us have different goals, talents, skills and purposes in life. We need to stop focusing on others and live our life. I'm not saying don't help people or take part in what others are doing. I'm saying we are not judged by the size of our house, bank account or the number of things we own. In the end we are judged by how we used what gifts we were given. Did we keep them for ourselves or did we give and use our gifts, personality, and abilities to affect the lives of others.

Life is a teamsport that needs to be lived together.
